<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent relative displacement exceeding a set maximum stroke amount, in a vibration damper which connects a body to be supported in a power plant or the like and a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: A torque rod 1 includes a stopper 55 having a first guide 551 which is inclined with respect to up-and-down directions of the vehicle body at one side in the up-and-down directions of the vehicle body with a reference shaft A sandwiched therebetween, and a second guide 552 which is inclined with respect to the up-and-down directions of the vehicle body in a reverse direction with respect to the first guide 551 at the other side of the up-and-down directions of the vehicle body with the reference shaft A sandwiched therebetween. By this arrangement, when the side of a second internal cylindrical body 4 abuts on the stopper 55 by being displaced from the reference shaft A, the side of the second internal cylindrical body 4 relatively moves along the first guide 551 or the second guide 552 so as to approximate the reference shaft A.
