<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel segment and a composite segment capable of reducing cost by facilitating bending process while maintaining stiffness and strength. <P>SOLUTION: In a steel segment manufactured by assembling main girders, joint plates, vertical ribs and skin plates by welding, the main girders at both sides and in the middle are processed by bending commercially available channel steels 1 and 2. Specifically, a steel segment is manufactured by welding the joint plates 3, the vertical ribs 4 and the skin plates 6 to the main girders at the both sides and in the middle processed by bending the channel steels 1 and 2.
