<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-piece optical pickup lens which is compact and allows simplification of manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A three-piece optical pickup lens 1 includes, sequentially from an object side to an image side along an optical axis Z, an aperture stop 11, a first lens L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, a second lens L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and a third lens L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>. The first lens L<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is a meniscus lens having a positive refractive power. The second lens L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>has an object side R<SB POS="POST">3</SB>and an image side R<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, on each of which at least one inflection point is formed between a center and a periphery of the second lens L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. The third lens L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>has an object side R<SB POS="POST">5</SB>and an image side R<SB POS="POST">6</SB>, on each of which at least one inflection point is formed between a center and a periphery of the third lens L<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, and has a positive refractive power at the center of the optical axis Z.
