<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striking tool capable of effectively reducing vibration by drive of a striker without being increased in size even when a counterweight mechanism is arranged. <P>SOLUTION: A motor 21 is arranged in a motion conversion housing 31 so that the reciprocating direction of a piston 43 is set orthogonal to the axial direction of an output shaft 22. A crank shaft 34 for transmitting torque to a motion conversion mechanism 36 is arranged on a tip side of the output shaft 22, and a rotation transmission shaft 51 for transmitting torque to a cylinder 40 is arranged on the front side of the crank shaft 34.
