<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents replaying method, device, and program which determine a contents replay start time (initial buffering time) based on user sensing quality for a time length for which the contents are replayed continuously and a waiting time length until the contents are started to replay. <P>SOLUTION: This invention extracts a contents data size and a contents time length of contents which a user demands replaying, calculates an average contents replaying data speed from the contents data size and the contents time length, calculates a data receiving speed from the data size of the contents received within a certain period of time after starting to receive the contents data and from the receiving time length, and determines the contents replaying start time by comparing the average contents replaying data speed and the data receiving speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
