The pulley (1) has a belt (5) guided at a running surface (6) of a running cladding (4) in an operating mode. A design of the running surface provides a recording and/or forwarding of medium entering between the belt and the running surface. The running surface of the running cladding is symmetrical or asymmetric formed or structured, and including recesses (11) or projection parts that are formed in the running surface of the running cladding. The projection parts are circumferentially distribution- provided on the running surface and designed as a rod, or half-cylinder. The running cladding of the pulley is made of plastic i.e. amplified thermoplastic material.
