The method involves performing printing of print material (3) on a base sheet (1) which is provided with perforation (5). The base sheet is cut by the laser beam through the perforation so as to form a releasable papercraft item (2). The base sheet is folded once after printing process and before cutting process. The base sheet is made of paper, cardboard, corrugated board, plastic, timber and/or metal.
