PURPOSE: A light emitting diode driving apparatus is provided to effectively control a brightness difference by regulating the application time of voltage to light emitting diode groups. CONSTITUTION: A first light emitting diode group(120) includes a plurality of light emitting diodes that are connected in series. A first switching part(110) transfers the voltage of a power supply to one end of the first light emitting diode group. A first switching control element(130) controls the turn-on time of the first switching part according to the magnitude of voltage at the other end of the first light emitting diode group. A second light emitting diode group(220) includes a plurality of light emitting diodes that are connected in series. A second switching part(210) is connected to the power supply and transfers the voltage to one end of the second light emitting diode group. A second switching control element(320) controls the turn-on time of the second switching part according to the magnitude of voltage at the other end of the second light emitting diode group.
