PURPOSE: A power supply unit is provided to improve the reliability of a product by being converted into a standby mode when an error is detected in a protection circuit is operated. CONSTITUTION: A power input unit receives a power signal from a main board and output a driving voltage. A driving circuit(120) receives a driving voltage from the power input unit and drives a driving circuit. A standby converter(130) detects an error signal form the main board and intercepts the power signal to converts a power input unit into a standby mode. A delay unit(131) delays an error signal through an error signal detection unit. A standby switching unit receives an error signal from the delay unit and is turned on to intercept a power signal.
