<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, inexpensive and rapidly applicable method that allows the surface of a medical implant to be provided with a coating for promoting bone growth. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for coating of an medical implant, including: providing a medical implant that includes at least one surface to be coated; providing a body that includes at least one calcium salt with a Mohs hardness of no more than 5.5 on at least one of its surfaces; and rubbing the body having the calcium salt-containing surface onto the at least one medical implant surface to be coated, in order to coat the surface of the medical implant with the at least one calcium salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
