<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system and an image display device equipped with the same realizing improvement of heat dissipation performance and simplification of manufacturing processes with the use of a few fixing parts. <P>SOLUTION: A thermally conductive member 6 is provided with a second plate-shaped part in contact with a face of a heat dissipation member 5 opposed to a light guide member 22, and a first plate-shaped part in contact with a face of a light source retention member 4 opposed to the light guide member 22. A plurality of fixing parts 50 are provided at a contact face of the heat dissipation member 5 and the second plate-shaped part for strengthening contact between them, and are linearly arrayed on a plurality of rows along a first direction on the contact face, the fixing parts 50 arrayed on the adjacent two rows out of the plurality of them are not linearly arrayed in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
