<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment prediction device capable of obtaining sufficient information of object behavior around an own vehicle for proper driving support. <P>SOLUTION: An environment prediction device 1 includes: a road information obtaining unit 4 for obtaining road information related to a road A; an own vehicle position prediction unit 61 for predicting a position of an own vehicle 81 in a predetermined period of time; and a prediction period setting unit 62 for setting a prediction period T on the basis of the road information and the position of the own vehicle 81 in the predetermined period of time.
