<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device and a radio system which can perform highly reliable radio wave detection. <P>SOLUTION: A radio device belongs to a second radio system which is different from a first radio system, the second radio system using a frequency band overlapping with that of the first radio system, and communicates with a client device which belongs to the second radio system. The radio device comprises: a transmission unit which transmits to the client device a request signal including a detection condition to detect a radio wave of the first radio system; a reception unit which receives a response signal including a detection result of a radio wave of the first radio system based on the detection condition, transmitted by the client device responding to the request signal; a determination unit which determines a utilization situation of the first radio system based on the response signal; and a control unit which restricts emission of a radio wave from the transmission unit in a frequency band overlapping with the frequency band used in the first radio system, if it has been determined that the first radio system is working as a determination result of the determination unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
