<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating apparatus using a switching system of heater resistance values, which inhibits the increase in a noise level of a noise terminal voltage due to a control of a power of a heater. <P>SOLUTION: An image heating apparatus comprises a heater 200 including a conductive path H1 and a conductive path H2, a commercial power supply 211 including power supply terminals AC1 and AC2, and a triac TR1 which is provided in a path for supplying a power from the power supply terminal AC2 to the heater 200 and supplies the power from the commercial power supply 211 to the heater 200. An end of the conductive path H1 is connected to an end of the conductive path H2, a connecting point between the conductive path H1 and the conductive path H2 is connected to the power supply terminal AC1 upon turning on a relay RL1, the other end of the conductive path H1 is connected to the power supply terminal AC1 or the triac TR1 via a relay RL2, the other end of the conductive path H2 is connected to the triac TR1. The image heating apparatus further comprises a capacitor X3 with an end connected to the connecting point between the conductive path H1 and the conductive path H2, and the other end connected to the power supply terminal AC2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
