<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction processing apparatus capable of preventing a dormant state from being suddenly incurred by drawing a unit inside the apparatus during transaction processing. <P>SOLUTION: In a (medical care fee) payment machine 1, a drawer unit 60 can be attached to and detached from an apparatus body 2 via a drawer port 70 provided on a rear surface 4 of the apparatus body 2. A rear door 21 of the apparatus body 2 is locked by a lock unit 24 in the state of closing the drawer port 70. In the payment machine 1, in response to a clerk lock 22 receiving an operation for opening the rear door 21, a body control section 51 discriminates whether it is under transaction processing. Upon discriminating that it is not under transaction processing, the body control section 51 performs unlock processing for unlocking the rear door 21 on the lock unit 24. Therefore, since the rear door 21 is locked during the transaction processing in the state of closing the drawer port 70, the drawer unit 60 is prevented from being drawn from the drawer port 70 by opening the rear door 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
