摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent readout delay. <P>SOLUTION: An instruction control apparatus includes a receiving means, a storage means, a calculation means, a prefetch means, an execution means, an acquisition means, a specification means and an updating means. The receiving means receives a readout instruction with prefetch. The storage means correspondingly stores identification information identifying a readout instruction and distance information. The calculation means calculates an address of a destination to be read out by prefetch based on the address of a readout destination in the readout instruction and the storage means. The prefetch means performs prefetch on the calculated address. In accordance with the readout instruction, the execution means performs readout on the prefetched address. The acquisition means acquires delay time until completion of readout. On the basis of the delay times, the specification means specifies distance information to be used for next prefetch and follows.
