<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus capable of reducing occurrence of wrinkles and image blur when a recording material is an envelope while having excellent fixing ability and image quality when a recording material is plain paper. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device has: a fixing means 30 which passes a recording material 50 recorded with a toner image through a nip part 35 between a heating roller 31 and a pressure member 32 to fix the toner image on the recording material 50; a discharge roller 23 which is arranged in the downstream of the fixing means 30 on the heating roller 31 side with respect to the nip part 35, forming a conveyance path 34 from the fixing means 30 for the recording material 50; and a conveyance path changing means 40 which is arranged between the fixing means 30 and the discharge roller 23, moving the conveyance path 34 to the pressure member 32 side in accordance with the type of the recording material 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
