<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a trigger signal useful for stable display by discarding unnecessary trigger events when there are trigger events more than the appropriately operable number. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern recognition device, upon receiving a test object signal and data for selecting various types of prescribed events, generates an output signal 402 indicating the generation of all the selected events in the test object signal. Qualification circuits 505, 510, 515, 520, 525, 530, and 535 measure first characteristics of the output signal indicating the repetition of the test object signal. A comparison circuit 540 compares the first characteristics with second characteristics to be generated subsequently to the first characteristics. When the comparison circuit determines that the second characteristics are within a prescribed allowance range of the first characteristics, qualified trigger signal generation circuits 545 and 55 generate a qualified trigger signal 404 and, when determined otherwise, prohibits the generation of the qualified trigger signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
