摘要 <p>An optical information recording medium possesses a recording layer (12) which has a multi-photon absorbing compound and a single photon absorbing compound; and a supporting member (base layer (11)) which supports the recording layer (12). Information is recorded to the optical information recording medium by variations made according to the presence or absence of bubbles which are generated as a result of the multi-photon absorbing compound absorbing multi-photons and the single photon absorbing compound absorbing single photons. One form of the recording layer (12) includes a macromolecule binder and it is possible for bubbles to be eliminated by means of heat. Thus, the method of optical information recording for recording information on this type of optical information recording medium is characterized in that by causing a multi-photon absorbing reaction in the multi-photon absorbing compound and by causing a single photon absorbing reaction in the single photon absorbing compound, bubbles are generated at a position which corresponds to the variation and information is recording by means of the presence or absence of said bubbles.</p>
