Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an assembled battery, in which the efficiency of resistance welding and the degree of freedom of the layout of cells can be increased. The method for manufacturing an assembled battery includes: a step for preparing a lead plate (5A) for connecting a cell (4A) and a cell (4B), and for preparing a lead plate (5B) for connecting a cell (4B) and a cell (4C); and a step for resistance welding both lead plates (5A, 5B) with the cell (4B) by bringing both lead plates (5A, 5B) into contact with the cell (4B) in a state in which a predetermined plate gap is provided between one end of the lead plate (5A) and one end of the lead plate (5B), and also by passing a current between both electrodes.
