<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle antitheft system, which can prevent a vehicle from being stolen by being simply robbed of a key or by duplicating the key. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle antitheft system 1 used for an electrifiable vehicle transmits immobilizer-requesting signals for requesting that vehicle functions be prevented from being executed, to the vehicle 10 from terminals 31 and 33 when vehicle charging is performed. The vehicle antitheft system 1 rejects authentication by the key 19 when the immobilizer requesting signals from the terminal 33 are received. Then, the authentication by the key 19 is not allowed unless the authentication is made valid through the terminal 33.
