<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternating current (AC) motor control apparatus which realizes current estimation with small arithmetic load and high estimation accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: Reactive and active currents are estimated by detecting a straight bus bar current at certain intervals during a first and a second predetermined period a number of times in each period, and then multiplying a vector consisting of the integrated sum of detected values in each period as its elements by an inverse of a matrix consisting of the integrated sum in each period of sine and cosine functions of the output voltage phase of an inverter the moment the detection was made as its elements. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the reactive and active currents flowing in an alternating current motor can be estimated with high accuracy requiring a small arithmetic load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
