<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving convenience while suppressing the integrated value of power consumption when utilizing a peripheral device. <P>SOLUTION: If a first condition including as a necessary condition, that first data transmitted from a client device to a server device at start-up time of the client device has been received, is satisfied, the state of the peripheral device is shifted to a first state in which the peripheral device is communicable with a device interface, and if a second condition including as a necessary condition, that second data transmitted from the client device to the server device at shut-down time of the client device has been received, is satisfied, the state of the peripheral device is shifted to a second state in which its power consumption is lower than that in the first state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
