<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device and a reception device in a polarization MIMO system which can separate signals with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission device transmits cross polarization characteristic information on a transmission antenna for every polarization and transmission angle which are measured beforehand for every transmission system, and information on a latitude, a longitude, and an altitude of the transmission antenna by using a predetermined data carrier with small required C/N. A reception device holds beforehand cross polarization characteristic information on a reception antenna for every polarization and the information on the latitude, the longitude, and the altitude of the transmission antenna, constructs a propagation path characteristic model by using the cross polarization characteristic information on the transmission antenna and the reception antenna, and the information on the latitudes, the longitudes, and the altitudes of the transmission antenna and the reception antenna, estimates the propagation path characteristic between the multiple transmission antennas and the multiple reception antennas by using a pilot signal transmitted from the transmission device, based on the propagation path characteristic model, and separates data signals for every transmission system based on the estimated propagation path characteristic. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
