<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction through proper control (selection) of a piercing punch, when machining a workpiece with a pressing die attached to a press machine. <P>SOLUTION: The piercing selector 1 includes the piercing punch 3 supported slidably in a through-hole 2a arranged in the piercing direction of a casing 2, a piercing ring 4 that is fitted into a piercing head 3b and guides movement of the piercing punch 3 to the direction of machining, a slide plate 6 that proceeds from horizontal direction to the upper side of piercing ring 4 and forcibly moves the piercing punch 3 by the tapered section 6a of its tip to the direction of machining, and a driving unit 7. A top plate 4a is arranged above the piercing ring 4 and when the slide plate 6 proceeds above the piercing punch 3 pushed by the driving unit 7, the lower face of the slide plate 6 comes slidingly to touch the upper face of the top plate 4a without touching directly the head 3b of the piercing punch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
