<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize user's personal authentication in an electronic device without using numerous keys or being concerned about push mistakes of the keys. <P>SOLUTION: A specific rhythm pattern is input from a keyboard or a touch panel of an information processing device, and is compared with a predetermined pattern which is previously stored in a storage device.
