<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve long time drive of a battery driven in a hybrid picture recording/reproducing device in which a dynamic storage device such as an optical disk and a large capacity nonvolatile static memory such as a semiconductor memory are combined. <P>SOLUTION: The battery driven hybrid picture recording/reproducing device in which a dynamic storage device and a large capacity nonvolatile static memory are combined, includes a remaining amount detector for detecting the remaining amount of the battery, and detects the remaining amount of the battery at least in three ranges. The hybrid picture recording/reproducing device is operated in different operation modes according to the detected three ranges, thereby elongating the battery driven operation time while degrading of convenience is kept minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
