<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-loss ring foil type bearing whose dimension can be easily adjusted and is suitable for a compact and high-speed gas bearing, while preventing a ring foil from rotating and moving in an axial direction. <P>SOLUTION: At least two projections are disposed to in ring foil, and grooves same in number as the projections are disposed in a ring holder, so that a snap ring attached to a side face of the ring holder prevents axial movement of the ring foil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
