<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive control apparatus which is designed to reduce an induced voltage compensation error when an induced voltage compensation error becomes excessively large due to distortion in an induced voltage at high revolution or high current time, and an electric power steering apparatus using this control apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive control apparatus, which drives an electric motor 12 having n phases equal to or greater than 3, comprises a current command value arithmetic unit 82 which calculates a current command value to drive the electric motor; a motor angle detection unit 13 which detects a motor angle of the electric motor; a motor angular velocity detection unit 80 which detects a motor angular velocity of the electric motor; and a compensatory induced voltage arithmetic unit 84 which calculates a compensatory induced voltage based on at least one of d-axis current and q-axis current values calculated along d-q coordinates rotating at the motor angular velocity, as well as on the motor angular velocity and the motor angle. Thus, an induced voltage of the electric motor is compensated in feedforward manner by a compensatory induced voltage calculated by the compensatory induced voltage arithmetic unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
