<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a surface treatment state at the edge of a surface treatment area in a heating apparatus capable of selectively performing the surface treatment of an arbitrary area. <P>SOLUTION: A thermal head 6 includes a heat generating body 25 disposed on a base plate 21 and is configured to be able to control a heating area of a sheet P. A nip section N is formed between an area of a film 8 including an area where the heat generating body 25 comes into contact and a platen roller 5. The film 8 is configured to contract by heating. For suppressing the contraction of the film 8 by the heating, the downstream end portion of the heat generating body 25 is positioned on the upstream side of the downstream end portion of the nip section N in the moving direction of the sheet P relative to the thermal head 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
