PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved mechanism for a user to comprehensively access contents in a state where a plurality of servers can exist.

SOLUTION: An information processor includes: a communication part capable of communicating with one or more content servers via a network; an information acquisition part which acquires content type information showing types of contents which each of the one or more content servers can provide, from the respective content servers by using communication of the communication part; and a user interface part which makes the user select desired one of content types shown by the content type information and causes a content server capable of providing at least one content belonging to the selected content type, to provide the at least one content. The content type information is information capable of discriminating types of containers included in content directories of the respective content servers.
