<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which cannot be in the condition that liquid is not ejected from a plurality of nozzles even when a large bubble is generated in a manifold. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid ejection head 1 includes a plurality of pressure generating chambers 5, nozzles 9 that communicate with respective pressure generating chambers 5, a manifold 7 that communicates with an opening 31 and serves as a common flow channel for the multiple pressure generating chambers 5, ink supply channels 10 having openings 32B that open into the manifold 7, that communicates between the manifold 7 and each pressure generating chamber 5, and supplies ink in the manifold 7 to each pressure generating chamber 5, and a piezoelectric vibrator 6 that causes ink to be ejected through each nozzle 9 by generating pressure within each pressure generating chamber 5.
