<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recorder capable of dubbing a recorded content on a memory card by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: When an automatic take-out function is effective, it is detected that the memory card has been inserted, take-out content information that is condition information recorded on the memory card is read out, according to a copy priority that is the condition information read out, content data of the same title with the most recent recording date is dubbed from a USB-HDD onto the memory card automatically for storage. Furthermore, it is not necessary that the condition information is recorded on the memory card, and control table information associating the memory card with the condition information may be stored in the video recorder.
