<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory device excellent in efficiency of reading and writing data, and a method for reading and writing data. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor memory device comprises a command processing module 13, a plurality of storage parts, a plurality of control modules CM0 through CMn, an arbitration circuit 16f, and a setting register. The arbitration circuit 16f excludes all of the control modules connected to the storage unit of a second group from a write operation target in accordance with identification information of the setting register, and instructs the control module connected to the storage unit of the second group to perform a read operation in a period overlapping the write operation performed by the control module connected to the storage unit of a first group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
