摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for reducing a size of an imaging apparatus when retracting a lens-barrel by improving space efficiency of an optical system arranged in a direction along an optical axis B perpendicular to an optical axis of an incident light flux of an object. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device includes a prism 5. The prism 5 is movable along an optical axis B perpendicular to an optical axis of a lens group 11. When the lens group 11 advances to an imaging position, the prism 5 bends the light flux incident from the lens group 11 in a direction of the optical axis B to guide it to an imaging element 8. When the lens group 11 is retracted to a housed position, the prism 5 is moved to a retracted position in a direction along the optical axis B to form a housing space for the lens group 11. A diaphragm-cum-shutter 9 is provided between the prism 5 and imaging element 8. The diaphragm-cum-shutter 9 is movable in a direction along the optical axis B together with an actuator 91 for opening/closing blades. The actuator 91 is arranged at a position where the actuator overlaps with the prism 5 in parallel to the optical axis B at least when the lens group 11 is at the housed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
