<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantitative determination method which can determine the quantity of a dissolved carbonic acid component in pure water with high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A quantitative determination method for a dissolved carbonic acid component contained in pure water includes a process for obtaining the acid conductivity of the pure water, a process for obtaining the acid conductivity attributed to ions contained in the pure water other than carbonic acid ions, and a process for computing the carbonic acid ion concentration based on the difference between the acid conductivity of the pure water and the acid conductivity attributed to the ions contained in the pure water other than the carbonic acid ions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
