摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control as much as possible the emission deterioration due to the fuel increase to cylinders in a control device of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine which executes a control for increasing and correcting a fuel injection amount to control the rotational fluctuation of cylinders. <P>SOLUTION: As for the cylinder with the greatest rotational fluctuation, the fuel injection amount is increased and corrected to suppress the rotational fluctuation assuming that the rotational fluctuation is caused by the lean combustion deterioration. As for the other cylinders, the fuel injection amount is not increased and corrected even when the rotational fluctuation is occurred so as to avoid the risk to increase the fuel by mistake for a cylinder which does not need the increase and correction of the fuel injection amount.
