<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator capable of enhancing the efficiency of separating oil mists and capable of suppressing a gas passage from being clogged on the occurrence of clogging of a filter. <P>SOLUTION: A first passage 24 communicating through the filter 25 and a second passage 26 communicating through a bored hole 27 with a small diameter without passing through the filter 25 are arranged between a flow inlet 22 and a flow outlet 23 in a housing 21. The pressure loss in the first passage 24 is set lower than the pressure loss in the second passage 26. Part of the filter 25 of the first passage 24 is arranged opposite to the vicinity of the outlet of the downstream side of the bored hole 27 in the second passage 26 as a separating colliding section 25c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
