A dental model (10) provided with a model jawbone and used for dental training is configured in such a manner that the model jawbone has formed therein a cavity (47) provided at a position corresponding to a part of or the entire mandibular canal. The cavity (47) preferably penetrates through to the surface (41) of the model jawbone, and a placement object (50) having a different color from the model jawbone is preferably disposed in the cavity (47). The placement object (50) preferably has different electrical conduction properties from the model jawbone.</p>
