<p>The device relates to medical devices for drawing off blood in the case of haemorrhages outside of hospital and can be used in pre-hospital conditions, namely on war fields, in conditions of emergency situations, and in conditions of transporting casualties with characteristic trauma to hospitals/clinics. It can also be used in hospital conditions, namely in the post-operative period in thoracic surgery, in cavity operations, and in cases where active draining of the affected cavities is required. The device can also be used as an indispensable item of equipment in a first-aid kit in all vehicles. The technical result consists in the possibility of reducing a haemorrhage in trauma by means of drawing off the blood from a casualty's body, wherein this possibility can be implemented even by the casualty himself; the possibility is also provided of pouring away one's own blood in the case of heavy haemorrhages. The claimed technical result is achieved in that the device for drawing off blood in the case of traumatic haemorrhages in pre-hospital conditions comprises: an elastic, resilient membrane capable of reproducing its initial form once it has been stretched; an inlet valve and an outlet valve; a working chamber; a support stand with the function of direct fixing to the surface of the thorax and of reproducing the hermetic sealtightness in the case of penetrative wounds directly in the thorax; an encircling line or band, or a belt, or a strip; a discharge tube; an intracavity draw-off probe; wherein the function of the elastic membrane is to bring the working chamber, owing to the resilience thereof, into the initial, constricted position during exhalation.</p> |
