PURPOSE: A sensor separation preventing device of an image forming device is provided to prevent separation of hooks by an external force after the sensor separation preventing device is fixed to a sensor fixing bracket. CONSTITUTION: A fixing bracket(20) is formed in a part of an image forming device. Coupling grooves(21,22) are formed on an inner side of the fixing bracket. A pair of separated hooks(14) is formed so that a sensor fixing bracket(10) is installed to the coupling grooves. A sensor mounting unit(12) is formed in an end part of the sensor fixing bracket. An elastic extension piece is extended around the coupling grooves One end of the elastic extension piece is located between the pair of hooks.
