PURPOSE: A cooling member and a battery module including thereof are provided to offer a compact battery module by fixing a battery cell when forming the battery module for improving the design reliability. CONSTITUTION: A cooling member(200) mounted among battery cells for removing heat generated from the battery cells when charging and discharging comprises a plate-like heat-radiating unit(210), and a coolant flowing unit(220). Both sides of the heat-radiating unit are closely attached to the battery cells. The coolant flowing unit is located on the outside of an electrode assembly storage unit for the battery cells, and has a hollow structure for circulating a coolant.
