PURPOSE: A shop management server and method thereof for managing the security state of a shop are provided to receive event information of security based on security filtering conditions including security conditions in consideration of distinct characteristics of each store. CONSTITUTION: A network module(11) receives a video signal from a video reader(30) and an event related to the business from a POS(Point of Sale) terminal(20). The network module receives security filtering conditions from outside. A storing unit(14) stores the security filtering conditions. If the received event satisfies the security filtering conditions, a controller(13) generates the security event and transmits the generated security event to the outside.
