<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which restrains an effect of a change in the kind of fuel fed to an engine from being exerted to durability or the like of a power transmission device when the kind of the fuel fed to the engine has been changed. <P>SOLUTION: Feedback control for correcting or changing an output torque characteristic of an engine 8 is implemented so that the output torque characteristic of the engine 8 versus an accelerator opening degree Acc falls within a given torque allowable range regardless of the kind of the fuel fed to the engine 8.
