<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve luminance unevenness regarding a driving method and driving circuit for an electronic circuit, a light emission device and electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In a pixel circuit 200, a transistor 12 turns ON and transistors 211, 213, and 214 turn OFF in a correction period. In a light emission period, on the other hand, the transistor 211 turns ON and the transistors 212 to 214 turn OFF. A Y driver sets a period in which a control signal G<SB>SET-i</SB>becomes an L level so as to adjust the length of the correction period according to the length of the light emission period. Specifically, the length of the correction period is made longer and longer as the length of the light emission period is shorter and shorter.
