Ventilation system for an aircraft

The system has a telescopic duct (1) accommodated between an interior covering unit and an exterior wall. The duct has exterior pipes (4, 6) that are telescopically slid in relation to an interior pipe (2) between a retracted position, in which a major portion of each exterior pipe covers the interior pipe, and an extended position in which the major portion of the exterior pipe is extended beyond the interior pipe. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft comprising a structure bearing an exterior wall and an interior covering.
