PURPOSE: A glass side protector including a detachable protector body is provided to protect glass plates from the external impact by fitting the protector to the outer edges or sides of the glass plate after cutting. CONSTITUTION: A glass side protector includes a detachable protector body(11) and a cushion body(12). The protector body surrounds the outer edge of a glass plate, and maintains the interval between the both edges of the glass plate with other glass plates and articles. The protector body has the cross section with a U shape, and a groove on the lower inner surface. The cushion body buffers the pressure applied to the protector body generated by the load of the glass plate.
