The method involves operating sorption heat exchangers (2a, 2b) in an adsorption mode with an adsorption phase and a regeneration mode with an intermediate cooling phase and a desorption phase to perform a quasi-continuous conditioning. Four switching units (6a-6d, 6e-6h) are coupled with each other and controlled by a drive to realize two operating modes with three phases for the heat exchangers. Outside air (7a, 7b), which is heated or not heated depending on the operating state of the heat exchangers, is supplied separately to the respective heat exchangers. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for controlling a sorption heat exchanger device for direct fresh air conditioning (2) a sorption heat exchanger device for direct fresh air conditioning. |
