<p>The system (4) has two gripper arms (5, 6), where a lifting device (100) for lifting shells (9) relative to the arms is provided at each arm. The lifting device includes a carrying element (10) i.e. bar, at an edge (12) of each shell for conversion of a closing movement of the arms relative to each other into a lifting movement of the carrying element. The lifting device includes leaf springs (16), which are pivotable around a pivot axis lying parallel to a feed conveyor (7). The closing movement of the arms is driven by a servomotor drive. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a shell sealing machine with a gripper system.</p> |
