The ventilator has a ventilator housing (1) and a rotationally driven running wheel that are made of fiber reinforced concrete i.e. cement-bonded fine concrete, where the fiber reinforced concrete contains alkyl resistant glass fibers. A hub is made from corrosion resistant material in the fiber reinforced concrete. An outer wall encloses the ventilator housing. The outer wall with a lid forms a cuboid/octahedral outer housing, where an interstice comprises a sound absorber between the outer housing and the ventilator housing. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a ventilator. |
